Join our Patient Advocate Network

Our Patient Advocates are at the heart of all that we do. Their involvement in our projects ensures everything we do is patient-led. Whether it’s joining a project, a discussion, or attending an event, get involved with our patient network and help us use your experiences to improve the lives of others.

The Patient Advocate network ensures that patients’ needs and wishes are the focus of everything we do at hearts4heart. The network is a creative think tank of ideas which will boost the ways that hearts4heart can raise awareness and reflect patients’ experiences.

Some of the Patient Advocate Networks objectives are to:

• – Provide advice and input into the hearts4heart team which helps ensure that patients are always at the heart of our work
• – Review plans and materials developed by hearts4heart and offer input on any ways in which patient focus might be enhanced in content and delivery
• – Monitor, co-ordinate and/or evaluate activities being carried out by advocates and other volunteers across the organisation
• – Act as spokespeople for the organisation at events or in the media
• – Ensure that hearts4heart draws on patient expertise and experience to meet its objectives and in doing so celebrates the role of patient involvement in our work
